Education and training organisations

TAFEs and private RTOs in VET

RTOs (including TAFEs) are training organisations registered by the VRQA in accordance with the Australian Quality Framework for vocational education and training (VET). An RTO has a defined scope of registration, that is the courses and training it can provide are specified on the register.

An RTO is registered to both deliver the course and award the qualification.
