Submitting proposed course to the VRQA

Once the accreditation panel has made its recommendation, the course can be submitted to us for formal assessment and accreditation.

Please complete a checklist and attach it to your submission:

We must receive the course accreditation submission within 12 months of course concept proposal approval.

Confirmation of accreditation

We will confirm in writing when the course has been approved for accreditation. A course code will be allocated to the course, as well as unit codes for any newly developed units of competency.

The relevant details of the course will be added to the state and national training registers.

It is up to you to make sure the content of the course stays current and relevant throughout the period of accreditation.
