Michonne van Rees has recently retired as the Regional Director (Gippsland) for the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD). Previously, Michonne worked as a Senior Executive with Parks Victoria. Michonne has held senior leadership roles with a focus on public sector and organisational reform including with the Department of Premier and Cabinet and has worked within the TAFE sector. She has held a number of Board and committee positions including having been a member of the Gippsland Advisory Council of Monash University.
