Welcome new board members

The VRQA is delighted to welcome new members to the Board.

Ms Pam White PSM, our new chair, comes to the VRQA with a strong executive background having held the positions of chief executive officer of the Victorian Bushfire and Reconstruction and Recovery Authority and acting chief executive officer of the Victorian State Services Authority. She has held a number of executive and senior management positions in the Victorian Public Service including executive director, Service and Delivery at the Department of Human Services. Ms White is a member of the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund and was a member of the Victorian Flood Appeal.

Board member, Dr Sara Glover, is a highly regarded policy and research leader and has been head of the Mitchell Education Program for the past year. She has held an executive position at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, and was the director of Education and Training and principal researcher at the Centre for Adolescent Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital/University of Melbourne.

Mr Jim Williamson comes to the VRQA Board with a range of senior consultancy and management roles with a strong focus on public policy research and program development. He has worked with leading agencies and organisations including Victoria University, the Brotherhood of St Laurence, Victorian Office of Housing and the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Mr Williamson is a former teacher and has held a number of education and public sector roles.

Ms White, Dr Glover and Mr Williamson replace retiring members Mr Tim Smith, Chair, Mr Graham Spencer and Mr David Windridge.
