Mandatory VET Activity Reporting Requirements
Full exemptions from reporting training activity are available for certain training involving:
- national security, border protection and policing (paragraphs 4.1 to 4.3 of the Policy). The Victoria Police TOID 4578 is the only eligible RTO currently registered by the VRQA in this category
- vital emergency, fire, first-aid, rescue or like services to the Australian community (refer paragraphs 4.4 to 4.6 of the Policy). It is not intended that this exemption category be used to exempt RTOs that deliver emergency, fire, first-aid or rescue training. The RTO must also provide these services to the Australian community. Ambulance Victoria TOId 6934, Country Fire Authority Victoria TOId 3739 and Victoria State Emergency Service Authority TOId 4157 have currently been identified as eligible RTOs in this category.
