How to Use Logos

Use of the VRQA logo

The VRQA logo should be used on formal documents produced under authority of the VRQA: qualifications and certificates of accreditation, recognition and registration.

For more information about use of the logo, see: VRQA Style Guide (pdf - 1.37mb)

Use of Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo

The Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo must be shown on qualifications issued by registered training organisations for nationally recognised training in compliance with the AQTF Standards. The NRT logo must be shown on:

  • all Certificates and Statements of Attainment issued for the completion of Training Package qualifications or units of competency
  • all Certificates and Statements of Attainment issued for the completion of state accredited qualifications, short courses and units of competency.

For information on the NRT logo, see the: Nationally Recognised Training Logo specifications guide (pdf - 411.56kb).

Requesting a copy of the VRQA or NRT logo

The VRQA and NRT logos are available in colour or black and white, in a range of file formats.

To obtain an electronic copy of either or both logos, email the Quality Assurance VET Unit.

Certificates and Statements of Attainment

RTOs must have Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) compliant Certificates and Statements of Attainment templates. This is so all students receive certificates of a national standard, that will be recognised both nationally and internationally.

The requirements for Certificates and Statements of Attainment, as well as suggested formats and required text, can be found in the AQF Second Edition January 2013.

The RTO must retain records of attainment of units of competency and qualifications for 30 years.
