Special notice: VRQA forms and guides under review

We are currently revising our forms and guides to reflect the VRQA’s changed regulatory functions as a result of the commencement of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) on 1 July 2011. Thank you for your patience during this transition. We will begin uploading the revised documents as soon as possible, until then you may continue to use the current forms.

To read about the VRQA’s changed regulatory functions, see: About Us

The VRQA manages registration and quality assurance arrangements for certain providers of education services to international students in Victoria. This includes:

  • approving schools for registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
  • making changes to a provider's CRICOS registration details
  • approving and quality assuring Overseas Secondary Student Exchange Organisations (OSSEOs)
  • giving approval for certain types of providers to be included on AusLIST, a register of education and training providers delivering Australian Qualifications to students outside of Australia. For more information, see: AusLIST
