Closing date for applications for 2010
Applications to provide the VCE and VCAL or a single accredited VCE or VCAL course can be assessed at any time by the VRQA, but approval to commence delivery is linked with senior secondary commencement dates established by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA).
It should be noted that the time required to prepare for, and then register as a new senior secondary provider is significant. Planning and registration commonly takes eighteen months or longer.
New non-school providers intending to offer the VCE or VCAL in 2010 must submit their application by 30 June 2009 so that they can participate in the VCE and VCAL Professional Development programs offered by the VCAA. These professional development programs are usually conducted during November (for VCAL) and at other times during the year (for VCE).
