Logos and Certificates

Logos

The VRQA logo should be used on formal documents produced under authority of the VRQA: qualifications, certificates of accreditation, recognition and registration.

For information about use of the logo,  see Style Guide (PDF - 103Kb).

Use of Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo

The Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo must be shown on qualifications issued by Registered Training Organisations for nationally recognised training in compliance with AQTF 2007 Essential Standards for Registration.

For information on the NRT logo see Nationally Recognised Training logo.

Specifications for use of the NRT logo are provided to organisations upon registration.

AQTF Standards for RTO use of logos

AQTF 2007 Essential Standards for Registration specify conditions for certification and issuing of qualifications and Statements of Attainment

The RTO must issue to persons it has assessed as competent, in accordance with the requirements of the Training Package or accredited course, a qualification or statement of attainment (as appropriate) that meets the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) requirements, identifies the RTO by its national provider number from the National Training Information Service and includes the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo in accordance with the current conditions of use.

Certificates and Statement of Attainment

It is a condition of registration for RTOs to have Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) compliant Certificates and Statements of Attainment templates. This is so all students are receiving certificates that are of a national standard and will be recognised both nationally and internationally.

The requirements for Certificates and Statements of Attainment as well as suggested formats and required text can be found in the Australian Qualifications Framework 2007 Handbook.

The RTO must retain records of attainment of units of competency and qualifications for a period of 30 years.
