A message from the Acting Director

The VRQA has released new information about apprenticeships and traineeships.

This infomation includes the VRQA Policy on Minimum Hours per Week for Employment and Training. This policy sets out the minimum requirements for the time an apprentice or trainee must spend in employment and formal training in order to fulfil the requirements of the training contract.

In recent months we have been working to provide more detailed information about the regulation of apprenticeships and traineeships on our website.

Further details are available in this edition of e-news.

The VRQA values feedback about the information and resources it provides, as well as suggestions for future e-news articles. Feedback may be directed to vrqa@edumail.vic.gov.au.
